Groovy Coloring is a woman owned, coded, and operated app. It is the creative brainchild of BettyWorks, aka Thera Barnett, a mobile software engineer who has been coding since the late 90s. She started BettyWorks, an independent app development studio, after feeling like her day jobs lacked the creative outlet she was looking for both artistically and technically.
Groovy Coloring combines her love of subversive and fun art with painting and computer graphics (life-long passions of hers) in a fun, easy to use app loaded with coloring features her competitors lack. She hires artists from all over the world to create original coloring pages that are specifically curated for teens and adults. The Groovy Coloring art selections are humorous, nostalgic, retro, psychedelic, counter-culture, subversive, cute, beautiful, groovy, and weird.
